Salsa at Oceana, Bristol goes to Tuesdays - with U-TRIBE!

SalsaSabrosa at Oceana is Bristol's biggest salsa night and from September will be moving to TUESDAYS. This is a permanent change.
Our first Tuesday will therefore be 2nd September when we are excited to be welcoming special guest teachers and performers U-Tribe direct from Paris. U-Tribe teach internationally and are usually only to be found at big salsa "congresses" - their schedule this year alone includes Australia, Italy, Germany, France, Croatia and Turkey!
They are coming to the UK for one night, to perform at 11pm and to teach the Advanced class at 9pm.

Fusing Congolese rhythms/sounds with Cuban salsa, this exuberant 10-piece multinational lineup of acclaimed musicians is the inspirational creation of Kinshasa-born singer/choreographer José-Hendrix 'Angel-voice' Ndelo and prolific Latin keyboard player/composer Sara McGuinness.

New Venue for BathSalsa's Thursday Night

Sadly, No. 8 Manvers Street Cafe (our previous venue) has closed following the sale of lease.
However, we are are moving the night to exciting new:
Revolution (upstairs bar), George Street, Bath.
This is a smart, spacious venue with air conditioning.
Launch night is Thursday, 24th July 2008.
Classes as normal, but starting at 8pm, rather 7:45pm.
