Hard to be sure.
Summer is always quieter because people are physically away on holiday or doing things with kids during school holidays. Expect club numbers during summer to be down by 25-30%.
Coming into September weekly club nights seem to be back to normal but the more expensive weekend events and party nights seem quieter. Where a promoter has multiple weekly clubs some dancers seem to be going only once a week instead of twice.
In hard times people need some fun and relief and I think the cheap nature of Salsa as a night out when compared to other things means dancers will keep dancing. Plus the addictive nature of it hopefully will make it hard to give up.
It wouldn't surprise me, however, if the flow of new beginners start drying up a little.
